The ‘Plain English’ Guide To Keeping Your Business Running – February Round-Up

Welcome to this month’s round-up for businesses like yours that probably doesn’t have the time, resource or inclination to stay on top of the latest issues in the world of IT and Cyber Security but want to ensure that your business keeps running.

We decided to launch this monthly blog as new threats are appearing all the time and we are still seeing businesses that are falling foul, as they don’t have the measures in place to protect themselves.

This Month’s Top Issues

We’ve been pretty quiet on our support desk this month and we’d like to think that’s because we’re providing our customers with the ight products and services for their business and dealing with any IT problems before they become an issue.

The main problem we encountered was a working example of staff not being able to find an important password. The company, a small finance services office, was brought to a standstill whilst everyone tried to find the password.  Password Management would have saved that loss of productivity and inconvenience, not to mention the fact that as a business they looked very unprofessional.

We’ve written a couple of blogs this month on some common questions we get asked.  Firstly around the confusion about which type of laptop to buy, business or consumer and also what type of software licence a business needs.

As always we hope you find the information useful and if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
